I have autonomic nerve damage and cannot regulate my body temperature. I've had to spend many summers stuck inside because I overheat in minutes. I've tried expensive cool vests, cheap fishing vests with ice packs in the pockets, a fan blowing directly on me, evaporative cooling devices and clothing etc. Nothing works well, or it's too heavy... until THIS beauty landed on my doorstep. Not only does it keep me from overheating it also keeps me from having to wear sunscreen, which makes me overheat. I've only tested it for a couple of hours at a time in 75-85 degree weather but it certainly does make a big difference in how I feel in the heat, and also in how quickly I cool down once I come back inside. I think the size tends to run a little tight, as I got an XL expecting plenty of room for clothing underneath but it fits about like the picture of the model... not too loose, not too tight. I'd like an entire summer wardrobe of this fabric please. :-)

First, the fit: I am 5'0" tall, busty, and usually a 10/12 petite, and the medium fits me great. The drawstring ruching provides the option of shortening the body as much as I'd like, and I found I can cuff the over-hand thumb loops once, and they gather at my wrists in a neutral manner; the fabric is thin enough that it doesn't get too bulky. All of these things satisfy me.But honestly, I bought this hoodie hoping it would work as a daily office sweater and a quick-grab modesty item to slip on over a tank when heading out the door. I find the fabric, however, a tad too athletic feeling for regular casual use. It's slippery and not snuggly at all. Also, the seam of the neck where the hood is attached is lined in a contrasting gray fleece. So when wearing the top either unzipped or only half-zipped, the neck collars flop open, showing the inside gray strip of lining on each side, breaking up the garment and giving it even more athletic of a look than I was hoping for. (I now see this phenomena is visible in the white and red photos here on Amazon.)
In the end, it's a cute design, but I don't find myself reaching for it very often. If it were a different fabric and without the grey neck lining, it might be four or five stars for me.
