Saw these in an old catalog just when I had trashed my last pair of hiking/hang out shorts. Liked the look of them and ordered them. Ex Officio makes a terrific product. A little pricy, but well put together and their products last a very long time. So no problem paying a little extra. Like the zipper pockets and the cargo pockets are placed so you do not sit on their contents when you sit down. Perfect. And a zipper pocket in the side pocket keeps items secure when you are wandering hither and yon. Perfect. They dry rapidly when wet and overnight hangup when just washed gets them on again first thing in the morning. Look good slimmer looking than most cargo shorts that hang out at all angles.Perfect. Liked them so much, ordered the trousers too. And they get lots of stars too.

I've had a pair of these for two years now, glad to see I can still get them. The zippered pockets rock, I use the three of them for keys, wallet and phone. My only wants are these in long or removable leg form and for there to be a dark color available, too.
