Great mitt as expected from OR, this model is the shell only (No FLEECE liner as the amazon description suggests). Go for the 'Mt Baker Modular Mitt' if you want a liner.

Great gloves, lightweight, solid and functional with many small features. They fit big, I started with the XL as I usually have to get everything in the size for hands, but ended up settling for the Medium!

These gloves are amazing, very well built, strong, extremely waterproof and windproof, they're exactly what I wanted for mountaineering and just playing around in the snow. However, I assumed that I would need the largest size because for mountaineering, I'll have liners on, then fleece gloves (well glommets technically), then these on the outside. I bought the XL but they're absolutely huge. I could have used the Large or even maybe the Medium, not sure. In the end, not a big deal because I can deal with the bit of extra material. I don't think it will make it harder to manage the rope or anything. Besides I'll take those outer mitts off when I need my fingers to tie knots and stuff. Overall I'm very pleased, but if I buy them again I'd buy a size or 2 smaller. Try them on in person if you can before buying to get the size right.

I ordered two of the Mt. Baker Shell and received the Revel model with less features. In particular, no hand warmer pocket was obvious. The OR packaging was correct for the Mt. Baker mitt, but it became clear that the item was not as advertised. No exchange was available. Felt like a bait and switch to me as they were on sale. Let the buyer beware.
