My dad (66 years old) is a fisherman and his doctor told him he was getting to cold and was getting frost bite. I bought my dad this jacket and matching bibs for Christmas and he loves it. Here are some good point that you want to look at before purchasing. Its light, not bulkey but extremely warm, it has velcro straps at the wrist to keep the wind out, multiple pockets for storage and they are all in the right place for real outdoorsman. The bibs are the same but a huge thing you want to look for here, they have a zipper in the front that will allow you to releave your self without taking the jacket off. This is one thing when i was looking for the bibs that i noticed, all other bibs didnt have a zipper that would actually allow you to do this. When its cold and rainy you dont want to take you jacket off. Whoever field tested and developed this set needs a gold metal. Great job!

I absolutely love it. I have to be out in the cold checking in folks coming in to ski and it gets mighty cold out there. I figured the hunters would know how to keep warm and they do! I have never paid this much for a coat or parka before, but it is definitely worth it!
