Love the woolies bottom! Makes an excellent cold weather baselayer. I'd consider these leggings mid-weight (they feel thicker/heavier than a 200g Icebreaker pair I own), so provide a good deal of warmth but are still light enough not to cause overheating when exerting myself or once indoors. They are fitted but not skin tight, have minimal,flat seams, and move well--without slipping or bunching--under all types of clothing including jeans. I have also worn them over padded cycling shorts and they fit well and didn't get stretched out. Their high quality is typical of the other Ibex merino undergarments I own--soft, moisture-wicking, comfortable, well-made, durable, and itch-free.They are comfy on their own just lounging around the house, and no doubt would make great pajamas. Like my other Ibex products (sport bras & camisoles), these haven't gotten any holes, torn, or pilled, and they wash well and keep their shape (I always hang dry). Really happy with these for cycling, winter sports/activities, and general all-around wear.

As far as fit, I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, 29 inseam and got the size small; I found them true to size but slightly long on me--would definitely be long enough for a taller size S person, too; and there are cuffs on the bottoms that can easily be turned up to accommodate petites. They do have a high waist (at the belly button) but this doesn't bother me--I commute by bike and since I got these, I have been using them regularly as a winter commuting baselayer; the extra coverage prevents my lower back from being exposed as I ride, which is great. When I'm not wearing them on the bike, I just flip the waistband over once to lower the rise to an inch below my navel. I find the waistband equally comfortable both ways.

Today I wore these under windproof hiking pants on my commute--it was 26 F out and my face was cold but my legs were very toasty!

I love it very much. Keep me warm while allowing the skin breath. The size is right. the size small is just right for me I am 5'3" with 115 pounds. The waist is good and comfortable too.

These Woolies are smooth and soft, fit like a glove and you forget you are wearing them. FYI I did end up purchasing a Small. I am a size 6. I was a really cold weather virgin, a Southern California native in Ireland, and I had no problem assimilating to the cold, sometimes rainy weather there.

These Woolies can be worn under even somewhat tight jeans or leggings and I think they will last for years. I'd buy a couple of pairs if traveling as they don't dry quickly in a damp climate. I'm a little picky though and you might not be.

Ibex products are terrific. The wool is high quality merino wool from New Zealand. These bottoms are very warm even though they are very thin. I can wear them either under a pair of slim jeans or wool slacks, and they are not bulky or uncomfortable..

what else is there to say? This product seems to survive the laundry fairly well and it feels good against my skin. Fit, function, price all in order.
