I've always liked Adidas' stuff. They are well constructed and launder well. This is a great price on a shirt for the gym or playing ball. I recommend. FYI, these are looser fitting (athletic fit).

It's a mystery to me why brands like adidas have so many variations on the same product and then don't properly name them so the customer knows what he is getting before putting the item on. In this case, I purchased what looked like the same product at a local store -a tank top with three stripes on top of each shoulder, and the adidas logo in the middle of the chest on the front. The tank I purchased locally has a somewhat loose fit, but the tanks I received from Amazon are even looser. In fact, this tank is probably the loosest fitting athletic shirt I've ever encountered. If you don't want to have something with a very loose fit, then either order a size smaller than you normally would or simply buy a different shirt. The looseness doesn't really bother me, though the shirt is a wee bit longer than I'd prefer. What's also of note is that the fabric on the tanks I received from Amazon is definitely thicker than the fabric used for the similar looking tank I purchased locally; the locally purchased one actually has fabric that's on the thin side. Unfortunately, this thicker fabric makes this a more difficult shirt to exercise in since it results in sweat accumulating on the shirt and then the shirt sticking to my skin more.

I still rated the shirt 4-stars because I do like it, but I thought other prospective purchasers should know more about the feel and fit of this shirt.

Buy one size smaller if you want a "regular" fit and 2 sizes smaller if you want a "slim" fit. I'm 6'2, 195lbs and my size is usually large for t-shirts with the exception of brands like Abercrombie, Hollister, Diesel, Armani Jeans etc.. My size for those is XL because they're muscle fit and I'm not that muscular..lol. Either way, I'm returning and I'm going to buy a Medium because the large size I bought is VERY large, even if my belly decides to grow even more the t-shirt will still be large. It would be appropriate for someone 6'7 tall with 350lbs. Other than that the quality is excellent and Amazon's service supreme as always!

I absolutely love this shirt. I've actually bought 4 of them because I don't want to have to worry about whether it's washed prior to going to the gym. It's a substantial shirt and whoever described it as a jersey kind of material is correct. It's definitely a quality product, well-made and not likely to deform from constant use.
