Having lost a lot of weight recently, I needed some new shorts for my workouts. I bought size Large for a waist size of 34-36 and they fit fine using the waist tie string. They hit my leg right at the knee, so they are a bit longer than shorts I have had in the past. One thing to note is that they do not have the internal bikini short, so you need to provide your own "extra support". Love these shorts. Usually with shorts there is some restistence to hip flexion or lateral movement in the crotch area, but these things move so freely it's like you're not even wearing them.They're perfect for any sport really, as well as well as training. These shorts were clearly made with function as the prime focus rather than style (no knock).
The only thing that wasn't as expected was the size. I'm 6'4" so I got an xl... They barely hit the top of my kneecap, and I anticipated that they would at least cover my knees. I'm more Jalen Rose than John Stockton. Other than that, great shorts.
