I bought these tights for my boyfriend who is always cold, and wears long underwear from fall to spring, heh. These tights are great because: 1) They are a denser knit than even heavy weight wool long underwear; 2) They don't have a fly, just a plain crotch do guys actually use a fly anymore?; 3) They don't hold stink at all; 4) They come out perfect even after my boyfriend does the laundry. They are form-fitting, so easy to layer under jeans, but the wool knit has enough give and is soft enough that they don't bind at all, even though the Lycra keeps them springy. I think the inseam measurement is only correct when he's not wearing them. As soon as he puts them on, the stretchy wool makes them longer than the official measurement, which is good. He found the waistband chafed slightly at first, but disappeared after washing.
A little on the pricy side, but extremely well made and worth the extra money for him to be really comfortable. Ibex is the best! They last for a long time.
