I bought this for my upcoming trip to Alaska so I haven't worn it yet in cold weather. The style is cute and the fabric is soft and warm, although everything is warm in Florida. I like the adjustable feature on the back as long as you don't get your hair caught in the Velcro.

it's a fine purple, the logo is not overbearing, and because of the 'ponytail hole' it is adjustable. it tends to stick up on top on me, but that is fine, because the velcro fastening in back can be done tightly (even around a ponytail) so that it is sure to stay on. the fleece is not the softest, but it's warm and fits under a hood or even a bike helmet.

I bought this to wear on a cruise to Alaska, and it kept me perfectly warm in very cold temperatures! I ended up ordering the L/XL since I have a larger head; I probably should have gotten the smaller size since this one bubbled up a bit on me, but it still served its purpose really well.
The ponytail hole in the back is also a nice asset, and it helped keep this on my head during a few really windy days.

We had one good north face hat in our household, and sharing it is as problematic as it sounds with chilly winters. However, women's hats rarely fit me, or I can't get them over the bulk of my hair or low enough around my ears, this hat is comfortably large. I like the ponytail hole for sports, and that feature lends a bit of adjustability to the hat as well. The floral motif is nice enough to be feminine, but not garish, very pleased.
