I use this glove for roller hockey pucks and it works well however if you take a slapshot to the fingers area it will sting. I'm sure this is made for balls so I'm pretty pleased it can do that. It lies flat so you can cover pucks well. I thought I wasn't going to be able to catch pucks with it but I had no problem.
Now one design flaw with it is right where the wrist and the hand meet on the inside of the glove. If you hit that area, (where many pucks will go) there is hard stitching that directly goes to your wrist / above the palm without any real padding. Well there's padding, it just has no give so it hurts. Luckily I had a thin piece of foam I got when I purchased a roller hockey mask (which I don't really recommend) Mylec Pro Goalie Mask which I was able to cut in half and insert over the hard stitching. Now I can hit anywhere on the front of the glove hard and feel no pain.
I hope they revise the product in the future so that hard stitching on the inside doesn't hurt when hit or need any home adjustments.
Update: for the long term review I did have to retire this glove. As I said it stings when it hits your fingers. On warm ups a guy was lighting up my hand and I could barely bare the pain. (I play an adult roller league) You can find a glove made for pucks for about the same price if you look around. I can still get stingers with my new one but not nearly as bad.
