Absolutely great padded shorts. I was looking into these for a while and I was not disappointed. I wear them for mountain biking, there such a great fit I don't even need to wear spandex anymore. They're very low profile. My last pair of padded shorts was made by Pro-Tech and were way too bulky and stood out way too much. These fit perfectly and do not stand out when I wear shorts over them. Best padded shorts I own.

These provide great protection in all the right places. I was hoping for a slightly tougher feel and more comfortable fabric, but once they are on and I am riding I do not notice them, until I need them. I have fallen 2 times wearing these and they provided nice cushion on the side of my hips where I have gotten bruised before. I would recommend theses, but know that the fabric used does not feel tough or as comfortable as I had hoped. Great product even with that said.

There is no chamois, nor any frontal padding. All padding is on the hips and tailbone area, and none of it is rigid. This works really well with a pair of roomy/baggy freeride/DH shorts or pants. The silicone leg gripper things don't pull your leg hairs either, bonus! Everything stays right where it should, no rattling or shaking, if you catch my drift.

purchased this product to cushion the inevitable falls during ice skating workouts. Mostly wanted to protect my hips and this product does an adequate job. The earlier version was bulkier but provided more protection. From my research, this was the best (only) choice on the market.
