I bought this product for my 10 year old who plays football and he loves it. I personally did not think the padding was thick enough, but my son said it was perfect for menoeuvring around and still gives him the side protection he needs. Him being a runningback, this has helped with the side hits quite a bit.The product fit my son a tad big. Not a big deal because a smaller size might of fit him to small. The product is great and really helps my son during football season. The price was Very Nice.
