I have a 32" waist. I exchanged a small for a medium, because the liner was too small for my quads. Althought the waist and fit was perfect, the liner caused some chafing on my leg. However, the medium has too much extra material at the sides (where the waistband bunches up, note that shorts are flat at the front and back so material falls nicely straight down). Rather disappointed that the medium is so big. The leg openings actually flare out and does not look very good at all. I think the medium will literally fit up to a 35-36" waist. It's too bad the small had such a small liner. Otherwise the Elite material feels nice and is super light and moisture wicking. Lighter than any Adidas running short I've ever owned.

These shorts are perfect. Just the right length ( I have a 34 inseam). They don't bunch up or stick when wet with sweat. I have bought 4 pairs now and I don't run in anything else.

An excellent distance running short. I am a size 31, 6'1" and 158 lbs and the medium fit perfectly. The liner is just right, not too tight, but still held everything in its place. No problems with chafing. The rear pocket and zipper are good quality and easy to access while running. The length is just right, not too short.

Summer training for a marathon leaves one incredibly sweaty. I needed a shorter pair of running shorts vs. 7" inseam. I'm a bigger guy and my legs rub so I was hoping this length would work. Nope, still rubbed and got a little chafing. I cut out the liner and used my regular boxer jocks and now its much better. I do love how light these are though.
