I bought a set of these watches for my wife and I 11 years ago and we love them. I wore mine every day and it finally gave out on me, so I was pleased to find that Seiko still makes the same exact watch now. I just bought another one to replace it.
My original one failed due to my own fault. I damaged the o-ring that seals it when I replaced the battery. This allowed water to get in when I washed my hands and such. So after a month with water in it, it finally stopped working. But, I cannot find a style that I like better so I bought the same one again.

This is the watch I wear most often. I've had it for about 16 years, and in all that time I've had precisely 0 problems. Now and then the battery runs out; otherwise it just keeps ticking. It's two-tone, so you can match it very easily with different colors, and the style is simple yet elegant enough that you can wear it with anything from jeans to a business suit. Seiko SLC028 is thin and design. The case measures 42mm diameter by 7.7 mm thickness.Seiko SGREB58 "Dress Two-Tone Watch" is worth 50% less than this watch and shows almost the same design. SLC028 is maybe a bit more elegant.
