So according to the Outdoor Research sizing chart, I worried that these might not fit well. Their chart says 38W X 34L for XL pants. My normal jean size is 40W X 30L. I chanced it anyway because it was a good deal. They fit just fine. Not huge, but there's enough room to move around. The length is definitely not 34. I put my ankle straps on when I'm riding and the length is just fine.
I wear these mainly for bicycle commuting but I also throw them in the pack for those PNW winter/spring hikes.
My previous pants didn't have the full zip legs. This feature is a must.

I wore these on several hikes in Denali National Park in rain.

The pants fit very well and look really smart. My waist is around 31" and the size small fits that size very well. Have not used it in the rail but I am assuming it will do the job of keeping the water out.

Estos pantalones tienen mucha facilidad para ser puesto sobre otros que uno esté usando 100% impermeables y tambien son muy faciles de csacar, no necesitas quitarte los zapatos para esto lo cual en lluvia y en una montaña resulta muy practivo
