Review of Sierra Designs Men's Vapor Jacket

This jacket seems great, but no where could I find data that states what its technical attributes are. I googled and searched but mostly even company website had only advertising data. I assume it is more than a little water proof but no where to be found.

I purchased this on sale, otherwise I think the price would make it untenable for me.

The polyester fabric used in this technical jacket is unique to both look and feelit is tough, lightweight and highly water resistant. A test-run revealed that rain beads off it for about 20 minutes before taking on water.

I prefer the heated-seams used in this jacket's construction, as opposed to the traditional sewn-seams, because it gives it a clean look, and remains remarkably comfortable (I have not tested how durable this type of jacket construction is(?) long term).

The cut of the jacket seems to favor people with longer arms and and thinner build. I am 6' and weigh 165 (picture a Basketball Player), and I can wear the L or XL in this jacket. The L looks tailored on me, while the XL is more baggy, and will allow for layers.

FYIthis is a technical jacket (no lining of any kind) but has become one of my favorite three season jackets. Recommended, if you are looking for a durable, packable, wind-breaker, for moderate rain protection (no hood, water-repellent).
