Not knowing what size to order, I guessed I would be a medium. I'm 5'4" and 120 pounds. As other reviewers have noted Body Glove is skin tight and very uncomfortable. This shirt is a mesh and true to size. The medium fits me as shown on the model. Just a small amount a room. Since it's mesh I think the fabric will be cooler and dry faster than the traditional rash guards.
A note, the description says 30+ spf. My navy blue shirt says 50+.

I just wore this shirt to go surfing Costa Rica not realizing that it is one of the things suggested! It works great nice fit, dries quickly. I also wore it around the pool when I'd had enough sun on my shoulders and arms. Just bought a short-sleeved one! I needed a long sleeve board shirt to protect me from the sun, and they work great. Water beads up on them, and they dry quickly. The material is very lightweight and comfortable. I usually wear a size xs or s but the medium fit me well, I like the fit to be a little loose, but not too loose.Both the pink and blue are exactly as shown in the picture. It is not see through at all, even when wet.
