I had a black underarmor shirt that I used previously but the weather was getting super hot in my area. Picked this up and couldn't be happier keeps me cool. It is quite a bit longer than the underarmor tank, but it doesn't really pose any problems.

best fit of all the under layers I have tried. if you build up heat like I do its a must recommendation.
