These pants are a really quiet. I couldn't detect any noise at all while wearing them. They are water resistant which wasn't too bad during the rain. I had them in Colorado on an elk hunt and they stood up well to high country, on foot, hiking and hunting and lots of it. The colors blend in perfect with early season mountain foliage. A must if your on the ground up high in the Rockies.
