The Amazon product description is misleading. This is in fact the new, large, C5 cell phone pouch from 5.11 as I had hoped and another reviewer had stated. It fits my iPhone 4s in the fully rubberized Otterbox shell case like a glove. Note that any smart phone larger than this will be challenged as I had to extend the strap fully to engage the clip. Put the screen in toward the back of the case otherwise the clip strap will tend to engage the power button on top of the phone. Superior construction with all the quality you should expect from 5.11. Just the right size to fit on the shoulder straps of my Rush72 bag. If you are a Molle-maxer, note that a radio pouch and this C5 pouch will fit snugly on a single shoulder strap of the Rush72 with the cell pouch on the bottom broad Molle strap and the radio pouch threaded through the top straps leaving the high broad strap on the shoulder available for radio antenna retention and remote mic clip. This leaves the other shoulder strap free to carry your microwave, color TV, refrigerator, or whatever else you happen to want to carry up there. Perhaps even something as boring as the 5.11 water bottle case if you are not using the hydration pouch on the backpack! The 5.11 innovation of the SlickStick strap permits Molle-ing without mauling. Home run all the way around.

I purchased this case hoping it would fit my Galaxy s3 phone. The case is very well made and is exactly the type of case i was looking for but unfortunately is wa not quite big enough for my phone. Not the fault of the product or seller though. I was simply being hopeful. I now hope that 5.11 creates another case that is slightly larger than this one. Perhaps one considered "Extra Large or XL" would suite my needs. Overall i like the quality and style of this product. Im sure i'll find another use for it other than my phone.

I work in the fire service where carrying a phone on the hip can be a challenge. When I got an iPhone I went through several cases, which ended up getting broken, not staying secured to my belt, or the phone falling out of it. The 5.11 case securely attaches to my belt and the phone is secured in it with no fear of it falling out. I even have my phone in an Otter Box case making it extra thick and it still fits (snuggly) in the case. I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a solid case.

The Motorola Admiral case isn't very durable and I was looking for a good replacement. This can be mounted vertically or horizontally. I don't know if it will fit, say, the CAT B10 phone, but for my purposes this was just was I was looking for.
