These Aspire 12 are the best running investment I've made. My feet are always dry after long trail runs (10 20 miles) and well supported. I've not had any blisters either. They are extremely durable but are not very thick and have great feel if you like a closer to minimal running shoe. Rather than wearing separate compression sleeves for my calves, I wear these 12 inch socks. The compression is more even and natural... no cutting or binding. I also wear them on my winter runs... they are all the warmth I need for my lower legs. I own several different pair of Swiftwick socks, including a fantastic Merino wool product that just never wears out and stays just as dry and odor free as the Aspire. I highly recommend Swiftwick.

These socks are fantastic and are now the only running socks that I buy. They're very thin and don't take up much room in your running shoes, but they're not so thin that you'll end up with a hole in them after wearing them 3 times. They don't bunch up and create any uncomfortable spots and they do a great job of wicking away moisture and keeping your feet cool.

I originally bought all "zero" styles, but now I'm gravitating more towards the "one" just so that I cover up my Achilles a little more. I still wear the zero, but I find that the skin near my Achilles will rub against the shoe and get a little chaffed. I also own a "twelve" which is awesome as a compression calf sleeve and great sock all in one.

Swiftwick socks live up to their billing, and before you turn away with sticker shock, know that they are FAR more durable than most socks. Dozens of washes, and they're as great as ever. My husband uses the 12s for skiing and soccer, and he uses the 1s or 2s for running and more. The compression quality is especially good if you have circulation issues cold or purple feet, varicose veins, etc. They are comfortably snug and not at all constricting.

These are by far the best socks I have ever worn. I've suffered from calf problems for the last few years. I log about 40-50 miles a week when Im not training for a race, and play soccer 4-5 days per week. These are great for extra support on longer runs over 8 miles or for recovery. I wear them for bed if I have a have soccer in the evening and an early morning run. I'm so spoiled by these and other swiftwick socks its hard to run in anything else.
