I wore this trap shooting today over a period of several hours, I am a LH shooter and it easily reversed to fit a left handed shooter. I normally just go with the gel insert in my shooting vest but have found it quite narrow & it doesn't offer full protection over my rather prominent clavicle bone. This pad was very easy to position exactly where I wanted it & the super strong velcro held it in place throughout the day. It was very comfortable & I wasn't even aware I was wearing it. It would be ideal in the summer under a t-shirt or lighter-weight vest.

Nothing but good things to say about this product. It's easy to use/wear and keeps me from having a bruised shoulder where the bra strap hits after several rounds of skeet or five-stand. I have a shooting vest with integral gel pad but it's not as effective as this. I throw the recoil shield in the washer in a lingerie bag on delicate after a few wears and it comes out fine. Would highly recommend.

I have very boney shoulders and like to go and shoot. My husband could not believe that I would get so sore and bruised every time we went out to the range. Finally I said enough and got this....now my husband wants one for him! I shot his 308 and a 22 gauge no problems, no bruise! I love it! Works great! I put it on before we left, it is definitely noticeable under a shirt, but who cares, I was going to the range. I wore it the entire time out there and took it off when we were getting ready to leave. It was rubbing my neck a bit, enough that I removed it, but didn't need to. Not a problem as I plan on using this for shooting, not to wear all day around the house.

Did I mention that I LOVE IT!!

I thought this product would be just ok but my girlfriend is impressed. She is a petite gal , but even shooting 12g she says she feels nothing. Go for it.
